A positive side effect from spending time on personal and spiritual growth is that we become adaptable. Being adaptrable means we adjust easily to new situations; we accept change instead of resisting change. An adaptable person relishes new challenges and learns to remain comfortable under pressure. Adaptability gives us the chance to keep our minds open to change, and this keeps us young at heart. It takes work and practice to become adaptable, and it is well worth the effort. A truly adaptale person worries very little, is flexible with people, tolerates others' viewpoints, easily stays true to her or his own values, and reserves time to enjoy life.
So, are you adaptable and open to change? Are you easygoing most of the time, rarely letting others' moods and behaviors bother you? Think of new ways you can be adaptable. Avoid letting others who are less adaptable push you to your limit or try to control you. People with good dispositions, who are exceptionally adaptable, are sometimes mistaken for pushovers. However, true adaptability allows you open mind to see this before it becomes a problem. The angels will protect you, if you protect yourself by establishing good boundaries.
