The easiest way to boost our bone density is to eat more fruits and vegetables because they provide plenty of potassium which is the key element that boosts our bone density by neutralizing excess acid in the body. Most Americans are having meals that contain lots of grains and animal protein. Both grains and animal protein can generate acids in the body. When the body has too much acids, the bones will release calcium to neutralize the acid which can lead to osteoporosis as we age. Eating more fruits and vegetables can supply enough potassium to the body as well as to replace extra grains that most people eat.
